Some of the files on this site and many others are designed to be read using Adobe ® Reader software. These files end with the .pdf extension.

ex: my_document.pdf


You can download and install the Free Adobe Reader here:

http://get.adobe.com/reader/.

Once you have installed it, these type of documents should open up for you, whether they are stored locally on your machine, or whether they open in a browser window.

If you do not wish to have the google toolbar installed, please make sure an uncheck the box during installation. I mention this because we have found that when browsers have multiple toolbars installed, they suffer a significant performance reduction.
