Here's a link to our band handbook - it's completely online. No forms to bring in to school, no paper to pass out. All online forms. We aren't allowed to do online payments just yet, but I'm hopeful! The first page of the…

Hey Matt,
How's things going? It's a fun year here, wonder if you might have a minute to upload your top 10 favorite Grade 1 pieces?
Collaborative lists are being updated daily, so I would love for your input on all of them. But we can start with that one. Don't forget, you can change your votes at any time if you find a piece that you forgot. Also, be sure to check out the posted list so that you can see the subjective voting collumns as well, I would love to discuss them with you.

Matt,
It is great to hear from you. I remember you quite well from the LN days. I hope all is well in Zionsville and that your year is off to a great start. Keep in touch.
Take care,
Eric

Hey Matt,
I would love for you to offer up your top 10 picks for Grade 2 Concert Literature. Here's how I looked at mine... If I asked you to come direct the Osceola County Florida All-County Concert Band, and told you that they were going to be right at level 2 for February........ what literature (minus marches, that's a different list) would you bring with you? I'm talking, the BEST , no fail, student proven pieces that you either played, conducted or witnessed over the years. You can change your vote at any time, but these lists are a great professional activity for me and I believe we can generate some quantitative data that will drive some pretty cool conversations with industry leaders. I can't wait to see how these lists take shape. Heck, top 3 will work for starters.
thanks and take your time with this, its fun!

Matt,
The address of msbanddirector.ning.com has been changed to msbanddirector.com
please change any necessary settings as we will be going public in less than 3 weeks! If you would like to now invite a few of your Ohio friends to create local groups, now's the time to set these up. Please also consider contributing to the forums, everyone's opinions are welcome. Together we are stronger as educators.
Matt,
Welcome to the test group. We will go public in September. The concept is simple: the most links possible on one page that are relevant to every day band directing duties. That's it. I would recommend that you enjoy the site and wait to see all of the links that will be coming for the main page. After that, I will be taking suggestions from the group as to what everyone needs, however for now I am asking everyone to wait until Guardian Host Networks gets all of the links active and customizable. Have fun with your member page, you can customize it. How about adding some pictures or sound files?
Spoke to Ed Nagel tonite and he says he knows you.
