Tim, I couldn't agree more with Kenya Contrasts. One of my groups is playing that now and they love it. Great piece of music.

Can I then add that one to your "Top 10" list and put a 10 for the "student popularity" category? Let me know. If you haven't read the dissertation on literature in the forums, might be worth a look. Would love to have your top 10's a s well Mr. Balmages. Really difficult assignment, I know, but exactly the data that has created the collaborative lists for this site.

I am asking each member to think about the activities listed in the "Literature" forums. The idea is that, if you were asked to conduct an all-county or an all-district concert band performance, what would the top 10 ten pieces be that you would bring with you? As you list your top 10 for each grade level, it will generate what is described in the outline for each literature section. It's a fun professional activity.
