Hi Tom,

I haven't been doing any teaching or playing here in Brevard County. I have been practicing again. It is a slow process trying to get my chops back up to what I consider presentable. It has many many years since I have really done any real performing. I had a couple of opportunities to play since I've been here; but, I turned them down because I didn't feel I was up to it. I have been busy helping my wife with the business, which is doing quite well. It has grown by about 25% since we took it over a year and a half ago. How is the playing situation in the Orlando market these days? I will be getting together with a friend of mine tomorrow, Mark Taylor. He is an arranger for jazz bands Hal Leonard)and is retired from the Army Blues Jazz Band in Washington. I've known him since our North Texas days. Hope everything is going well.

I didn't know you resided on this side of town. I still live in Winter Park with my grandmother and make the commute every morning. I really enjoy my students and like my school!
