Now I know how to get things done. Talk to your wife!
Seriously, it was great seeing you both at Midwest and hopefully it won't be another year before we communicate again. Let's get those feeders of yours as members here.

Thought about uploading any more pictures, sound files or videos to your page?
When you do, you get to decide who gets to see them. If you only want yourself to view the pictures, then you can choose this. (creates a slide show for just you to enjoy while you are working) Or you can choose just your friends.... or you can choose everyone (watch copyright on this one). With you or your friends, you can pretty much upload anything you want. Would love to see some pictures of your groups.

Welcome to MSBandDirector.com! Glad you're a part of the international collaboration of professional educators. The idea here is that each of us should be able to set our internet browsers to the main page of MS and have access to all of the links we need to get through our professional days on the front lines of education.
All of the good stuff is in the forums. If you have comments or opinions or uploads on any of the topics please feel free to chime in OR if you look carefully there are quality handouts and ideas uploaded to each of them for everyone to use.
As for the literature section of the forums, I am asking each director to contribute their top 3-10 favorite pieces to add to the collaborative literature lists. This way the lists reflect what teachers believe and not what publishers want us to believe. This is a great professional activity and is done by each of us every time we program for our groups.
Using the "Best" lists is easy as many of the titles are actual links to the recording of the piece. Call up the grade 1's and listen to your colleagues' opinions of what the best and most useful grade 1 literature is. This is very helpful and useful in programming the best literature available for this aged learner.
