About Arthur
I started composing music at around age 13. I'm a classically trained musician, prepared as a music educator. I earned a bachelor's degree in music from the Eastman School of Music, and a master of arts degree in teaching from Teachers College, Columbia University. I taught instrumental music and directed bands in New Jersey and New York in grades 4 through 12. Since 1978 I've published concert band, choral and instrumental ensemble pieces.
