Winter Concert

Question for all of you: When students are true beginners in 6th grade, how many pieces/what kind of pieces do you perform at the Winter Concert? My concert takes place December 18th and I never know how many pieces to play and what kind of pieces/level I should shoot for. It's my second year teaching and I'm still working out some of the kinks :) Let me know what you think!See More

"You are reading it correctly. I don't have an oppurtunity to pull students out. I have all of the instruments in the classroom all at once. That's why I'm trying to change my classes :) I see each class for 40 minutes every other day."

I am a first year teacher in a middle school program. Then I changed my mind again. I can't seem to make my mind up, but here is my schedule. 6th grade Beginning6th grade Beginning6th grade…See More
