Good evening SC folks. All-State band is this weekend. We will have two MS specific meetings this weekend that would be awesome for everyone to attend. At 10:00 AM on Friday in Daniel Rectial Hall, we will have a new music reading session with the MS band directors and MS alternates. Please bring your instruments and plan to play. We have music from 3 and probably 4 publishers to read that day. 26 tunes as of today and probably over 30 when it is all said and done. We will also have a best practices meeting on Friday at 3:00 PM in D-104. Come prepared to share with other directors. We are still looking for some topics of interest. I would love for us to share some ideas about the sightreading room at festival.

I would also be happy to share SmartMusic with anyone who is interested.

Hey guys! Don't forget that we will have a new music reading session at All-State (prob Friday morning). Make sure to bring your alternates and your instruments. We have about 30 or so new tunes to read.

We will also have a MS directors meeting at All-State (prob Sat afternoon)

I think the simplest thing would be to submit a request to the IT department in your district to have it unblocked. There are always ways to circumvent the blocks that the school district sets up, but I'd advise against going that route. If you convince them of the professional development value of this website, I doubt you'll have any problems.

I like this site but I can't access it during school. That is when I really want to use it. any suggestions? The CCSD has it blocked!
