Members checking this page, please send any new teachers to the "New Teacher Story Booth". Member, Beth Peterson is doing a study of young teachers in order to inform future teachers. It is a great effort.

Alright...I'll try this again. I posted a few days ago, then it went away. Russ and I would like to plan a meet and greet at the Congress Plaza Hotel lounge on Thurs around 6PMish. If you would be so kind, please let us know if you plan to attend. I will email all of you my cell number, feel free to text or call. Mary Jo, thanks for allowing us to gather at your booth. I'll plan on dropping by Wed morning to say hello. Hope you all have a safe trip, and I'm very excited to meet all of you.
Until then,
Ed

FYI--Alex Shapiro will be the next composer to write a piece for the BandQuest series published by American Composers Forum. You heard it here first! She'll start her project in January--YAY!

Also at the ACF booth this year will be composers Stephen Paulus and Chris Brubeck (I think Thurs and Fri of the conference, and for those who may not know, Chris' dad is Dave Brubeck). Hope to see you at booth #1000!

I'll be at Midwest, and when I'm not wandering around in a happy daze, I'll be at the American Composers Forum booth #1000 (in the corner by one of the entrances; where the publishers are). Stop by and say hi!

I have some presents for the members of this group at Midwest. Whenever Ed comes up with a time to meet and greet, we'll get this together.
