Members,
Please bring your primary instrument to convention this year if you would like to take part in a Jazz workshop for non-traditional jazz instruments. It is being held on Saturday at the Mariott in rooms MW 8-10 at 11:00. If you have always wanted to learn how to swing and to play with a wonderful rhythm section, please attend. It will be educational, easy and you will sound great. The level of literature is easy but the experience should be wonderful and informative.

I believe Nick DeCarbo at Univ. of Miami is in charge of the FBA Professional Library now.

I have gotten recordings that way before. Dr. Shellahamer was in charge of it when I last requested a recording four years ago. He has since retired and I'm not sure if he still handles those recordings.

Has anyone done the deal with FSU where you contact them to make a CD of band recordings from State contest? I would like to learn more about this. I was speaking with Tom Haller from Douglas Anderson and was told that this might be possible. Any thoughts?
