Directors upload original files for the purposes of auditioning MS band students and preparing students for their first auditions. Included up front here is a printable list of the dos and don'ts for the student taking their first audition. This is a great handout for your band handbooks or for insertion into their concert folders on general principle.

I typically use the Watkins/Farnum book for both testing and for nearly every audition that our school does. It has most instruments and all levels and is one of the most through test books ever written. Available from Eble music on the main page.

I would love to add that if directors are entertaining All-County, All-District types of groups, that there are free audition materials available for both jazz and concert band on cyberwindsmusic.com.  Complete with accompaniment files.  All you need is internet and a laptop.
