Easy bingo that requires signatures not "calling out numbers."
As students come together for the first time it is great to have some activities to allow them to get to know one another. Here's a bingo activity that works well for me. Feel free to customize it for your needs.
Students enter the room, they receive a bingo card, they must go around the room and get signatures (initials) from students who fit the description provided in the bingo box.

No one wins or loses, it's just an ice breaker! Of course for the more advanced, there can be rewards for:
1. 1st complete card with no double signatures.
2. 2nd complete card with no double signatures.
3. 1st Bingo diagonal with no double signatures... etc.
However you wish to work it, it's just an ice breaker. Students leave the activity knowing something about the other new students in the group.
